Fund Student's Postsecondary Readiness
The Mobile STEM Aviation Lab (MSAL) is Economic Pathways Coalition’s flagship pilot program and a front-end pathway initiative designed to expand postsecondary readiness for rural students. This 28-foot mobile classroom brings hands-on aviation, drone, and AI learning directly to rural high schools that have historically lacked access to modern STEM and career-technical exposure.
Your support does more than fund equipment, it expands early access to foundational skills, safety-minded aviation concepts, and exposure to industry-recognized credentials aligned with Alabama’s workforce priorities. Through MSAL’s rotating delivery model, students engage with flight simulation, applied drone missions, introductory AI concepts, and complete the FAA TRUST safety certification. Age-eligible students may also receive preparation resources aligned to the FAA Part 107 exam. All activities are mapped to Alabama’s Option B Workforce Diploma framework and College & Career Readiness Indicators.
By investing in the MSAL pilot, you are strengthening the front end of the regional talent pipeline by helping students make informed, aligned postsecondary choices. Your contribution supports a model designed to improve CCRI performance for partner schools, expand awareness of aviation and technology pathways, and reduce youth outmigration by connecting students to opportunities that already exist within the region’s education and workforce systems.
Together, we can expand access, clarify pathways, and unlock rural potential one rotation and one student at a time.
